what to expect

OC Youth is the youth ministry of Oakland Church. We meet every Wednesday in the lower level of Oakland Church in the generations room. OC Youth is specifically designed to engage grades 7th-12th in a safe and fun ENVIRONMENT.

Wednesday’s

Doors open at 6:30pm for snacks, games, and fun. Service starts at 7:00pm with a time of praise & worship, a message and depending on the week, a time for small group discussion.

Vibe nights

The last Wednesday of every month is VIBE night. This is a night full of games, fun and food. VIBE nights are themed nights designed for youth to be able to build relationships and connect in a non-traditional church atmosphere. Sunday Mornings

We have a seat saved for you! Join us in the student section located in the balcony of the main auditorium during the 11:00 am service as we gather as a church to worship.

  • The purpose of OC Youth is to build a strong sense of community and belonging, foster belief and relationship with Jesus, and empower young people to become everything God has created them to be to make an impact in this world.

    We achieve this by providing a safe and supportive environment where youth can explore their beliefs, develop leadership skills, and form lasting friendships. Through worship, teaching, service opportunities, and fun activities, we strive to help our youth grow closer to God and each other.

  • OC Youth organizes a variety of engaging activities designed to promote community, spiritual growth, and fun. Some of the activities we offer:

    Weekly Wednesday gatherings, trips and outings, camp, collaborative events where we partner with other local youth ministries and our annual youth conference - Awaken

    These activities are designed to be both fun and spiritually enriching, helping youth develop their faith while making lasting memories and friendships.
